One of our church’s major outreach efforts is our annual Thanksgiving Food Basket ministry. We are excited to continue this ministry in 2020 and need your continued support. Last year we served 117 families and this year we anticipate even more opportunities to help in our community.
This year’s activities will be slightly different. Volunteers will be wearing masks and following social distancing guidelines while we assemble and deliver the food baskets. Those who do deliveries will sometimes be leaving food boxes on porches and sometimes will need to carry boxes inside of homes (wearing a mask) as they are pretty heavy.
Please complete the online signup if you would like to make a food donation and/or want to help with assembly and delivery. (See link below)
Monetary donations will be used to purchase food items not donated, including fruit, yams, celery, onions, potatoes, etc. Please indicate "Thanksgiving Baskets" on your check or in Tithely. Instructions on how to give are here on our giving page.
As you have done generously in the past, please consider how you might contribute to this ministry.
